With GFF support, the government of Zambia has finalized an investment case prioritizing health system and financing reforms to improve health outcomes for women, children and adolescents. These priorities include strengthening health infrastructure, supplies and commodities; closing the human resources gap; ensuring a strong community voice; promoting equity in access to high quality services; and ensuring financial sustainability.

The GFF is providing technical assistance for these priorities such as strengthening the National Health Accounts, conducting resource mapping and expenditure tracking, ensuring streamlined data systems, and providing analysis on the cost of small and sick newborn care as well as human resources for health.
