The government of Somalia leads an investment case prioritizing the implementation of the essential package of health services to expand health service delivery.

GFF support is helping the government improve donor alignment, coordination, and enhance transparency. With a focus on government stewardship, the GFF supports activities to strengthen the capacity of the government to carry out regulatory roles, better measure results and expand partnerships with non-state actors such as non-governmental organizations and the private sector. The GFF also supports capacity building for utilizing health information, including harmonizing data from resource mapping and expenditure tracking with National Health Accounts.
