With strong leadership from Norway, the Global Financing Facility (GFF) was launched in 2015 to accelerate progress toward ending preventable maternal, newborn, child, and adolescent deaths by 2030. Over the past decade, Norway has been instrumental in advancing sexual and reproductive health and rights, expanding access to lifesaving care, and reducing maternal and child mortality.

Co-hosted by the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (Norad), Laerdal Global Health and the GFF, this event will reflect on the central role of Norwegian leadership in shaping the GFF’s strategy and impact in times of crisis. The GFF’s work with Norwegian partners has made it possible to scale up innovations to advance the health, rights and opportunities for women, children and adolescents. This event will celebrate 10 years of successful partnership and impact, and will showcase what is possible when successful innovations are brought to scale.
