The 79th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA79) is a key moment to accelerate progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), highlighting the need for stronger collaboration to tackle challenges such as climate change, poverty, inequality, conflicts, and health crises.

UNGA79, scheduled over several days in September 2024 at the United Nations headquarters in New York, includes a number of issues critical to the work of the GFF. We will be participating in discussions and events during the UNGA High-Level Week, including important conversations on primary health care and accelerating action and financing for the health of women, children and adolescents.
