John Paul has over 35 years of experience and technical leadership in disease control, maternal and child health and health security. Prior to joining the GFF, he was the coordinator of the World Bank’s 16 country Regional Disease Surveillance Systems Enhancement Program—a flagship program for outbreak preparedness and response—and the Bank’s One Health Strategy. Before that, he held senior positions in the US government and World Health Organization.
