Investment Case to Improve Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child and Adolescent Health in Cameroon
Details
Following the launch of the mechanism process in October 2015, Cameroon undertook an inclusive approach by involving civil society, technical and financial partners, and the private sector in the development of the investment case for maternal, newborn, child and adolescent health, including a special focus on nutrition. In this context, the in-depth analysis of the situation confirms that the regions of Adamaoua, East, Far-North and North are those where indicators remain the most concerning compared to the rest of the country.
The development of a national health financing strategy, also supported by the GFF, is very timely in the context of planning for sustainable financing for the purpose of Universal Health Coverage.
