Scaling for Impact: The Pathway to Ending Preventable Deaths of Women, Children and Adolescents (Annual Report 2023–2024)
Details
This past year has seen the partnership continue to deliver results in some of the most challenging contexts, including in situations of fragility, conflict and violence, and in settings where shrinking fiscal space is placing strain on already under-resourced health systems. Despite these challenges, this year's report shows that progress is possible when countries lead the way to strengthen health systems, and bring to scale innovative solutions to improve women’s, children’s and adolescent health.
The report tells a story of impact, partnership and innovation delivered through a country-led commitment to advancing women’s, children’s and adolescent health. It presents concrete examples of countries making major leaps to advance the health of women, children and adolescents—progress that is only possible thanks to the leadership of governments, communities and individuals with a bold vision for healthier populations. The report also acknowledges the urgency in the work that still lies ahead—as we renew our collective commitment to ensuring healthier, safer and more prosperous populations.
