The Project Development Objective is to improve selected practices, services and behaviors known to be key determinants of chronic malnutrition (with an emphasis on the first 1,000 days of life) in the intervention areas.
The project is complemented by performance-based buydown grant funds from the GFF Trust Fund to buy down the interest and/or other IBRD loan charges on the Project loan to more concessional terms when the agreed upon indicators for Years 2 and 4 are achieved.
