L’Engagement de la Société Civile dans le Processus du GFF en Côte d’Ivoire
Détails
The GFF partnership is intended to be implemented through an inclusive, participatory, and transparent government-led process. This report demonstrates how in Côte d’Ivoire, civil society’s well-organized priorities contributed to the National Dialogue on Health Financing in 2018 and fed into the country’s Investment Case. Civil society’s inputs are carried through in the GFF-funded International Development Association project, which includes citizen report cards with target indicators for the involvement of citizens and communities in planning, implementation and evaluation of programs, as well as complaint mechanisms for citizens.
This strong engagement was possible as a result of supportive government, GFF Secretariat and World Bank leadership that recognized the value of civil society; as well as coordination through a national civil society coalition working across health and nutrition, and sustained technical and financial support for the coalition.
